Our approach

A reference framework, adapted to your context.

SAP Activate is the group’s reference framework for SAP transformations. We adapt it to the context, the scenario and your governance. What does not vary, from Paris to Casablanca and Dakar: the decisions we secure, and the way we examine them.

The engagement model

Three ways of working with us.

Integrator or client-side adviser? Both, depending on your set-up. The role is chosen on the first engagement, written into the contract, and then does not change without your decision.

As integrator: we deliver

Conversions, rollouts and projects run under our lead, end to end, with the support of the group’s experts. A format sized for mid-sized companies, subsidiaries and targeted scopes within large accounts.

As client-side adviser / programme manager

Facing a large integrator, we sit on your side of the table: verifiable requirements, demanding acceptance testing, informed trade-offs. We defend your interests, exclusively.

As co-contractor or service centre

Our experts join your set-up or your partner’s, on the work packages where their expertise makes the difference; or the Casablanca service centre takes on run and build under SLAs.

The method

SAP Activate: five phases, one thread.

01

Discover

Set the strategy before setting up the system: target analysis, scope definition, business case. Management knows what the project must change, at what cost and for what value.

02

Prepare

Get the project ready to run: set-up, team mobilisation, governance and planning. Everyone knows their role and the timetable is committed.

03

Explore

Confront the standard with your reality, local requirements included: fit-to-standard, business workshops, design. Every deviation from standard is examined, then decided with full knowledge of the facts.

04

Realize

Build and prove: build, testing, data migration, integrated acceptance testing and UAT led by the business. The system is validated on your data and your volumes.

05

Deploy

Cut over and anchor: go-live, user training, hypercare, then an organised handover to run, often to the Casablanca service centre.

What makes the difference

The phases are well known. What matters is what gets secured.

Design Authority

A single body settles design and architecture questions. Nobody rediscovers a decision during the build phase.

Fit-to-standard

The SAP standard first, demonstrated on your business cases. The process adapts before the system bends.

Gap management

Every deviation from standard is examined with its build, operating and upgrade cost, then decided with full knowledge of the facts.

Clean core

Extensions move out of the core, onto SAP BTP, to preserve your ability to keep up with updates and adopt the vendor’s innovations.

Data readiness

Quality, cleansing, migration rules and test data sets prepared from the Explore phase: data is never the subject of the last week.

Cutover & hypercare

A cutover plan rehearsed in dry runs, timed to the minute, with entry, exit and rollback criteria; then the first weeks of operation with the project team at your side.

The decisions we secure

Seven decisions that commit you for ten years.

An SAP transformation hinges on a small number of irreversible decisions. We examine them with you, alternatives and costs included, before they become constraints.

01

The S/4 scenario

Conversion, new implementation or selective transition; private cloud, public cloud or on-premise.

02

The target architecture

S/4HANA core, BTP extensions, integrations, data, security: a target drawn before buying.

03

The scope

What goes into wave 1, what follows, what is left out. A scope that holds protects the timetable and the budget.

04

Standard or custom

Every gap costed over its full life cycle. Clean core is an economic decision.

05

Data migration

What to carry over, with how much historical depth, under which quality rules, and who is accountable for it.

06

Integration

Patterns, platform, ownership of flows: integration is designed as a product.

07

The operating model

Who runs the system after go-live, with which skills, which SLAs, which continuous-improvement budget.

Talk about your transformation with an expert who delivers it.

Thirty minutes with a senior expert, in Casablanca or by video call, just enough time to understand your context and see whether we can be useful to you. No more than that.
